Wine Stains

Get Rid Of Wine Stains In Minutes

Red wine will stain fibers. If it sinks into for too long and they become permanent and will set. The goal then is to lift the red wine off of the fibers by diluting it and wicking it away.

It is good to treat a stain right away.  The easiest and fastest way to remove red wine stains is by using an established brand, such as Outrageous Stain Remover and Laundry Pre-Treater.

It’s easy to use:

  1. Dab stain with paper towels to absorb as much wine as possible

2. Apply Outrageous

3. Use clean towel to agitate the surface

4. Allow 5 minutes to penetrate

5. Wash

Getting moisture into the area is the quickest way to break it up and keep it from settling. Depending on whether you’re dealing with a shirt or tablecloth, you will be limited in which options you can use, but there are many other approaches and that may or may not do the job.

The oldest and simplest solutions are these first two:

1. Salt

2. Club Soda

3. Dishwashing Liquid & Hydrogen Peroxide

4. Bicarb Soda & Vinegar

5. Hot Water Through The Fabric

Many products work to some extent, however using an established brand stain remover works best.  Some DIY solutions worked part of the time, but it was just that.  Part of the time.
